This Warehouse Shift Operations Lead manages designated areas and may lead daily department operations at White Cap. The position supports performance goals, customer problem resolution, facility safety, and compliance programs. Responsibilities include opening and closing the distribution center, enforcing Asset Protection and Hazmat requirements, and reviewing junior associates’ work.
Key Responsibilities: Lead daily operations of assigned warehouse departments
Train associates and delegate departmental tasks
Review work completed by junior level associates




Ensure worker’s compensation and liability policy adherence
Perform manager duties and other assigned responsibilities
Requirements: Generally seven or more years in the relevant area
Technical certification or associate degree may be required
Experience resolving difficult or high-impact operational problems
Ability to work with infrequent output review
Overnight travel typically below ten percent
Use warehouse leadership, associate training, and safety compliance expertise to guide White Cap’s designated operational areas effectively.
