At CCHC, the Registered Practical Nurse supports individuals, families, and groups through community-based primary care. The role applies nursing knowledge, health promotion principles, harm reduction concepts, and client-centred service delivery. It also addresses infection prevention, medical instrument reprocessing, examination room readiness, and stock maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care within qualified standards and scope
Support individuals, families, and groups in community settings
Apply trauma-informed and harm reduction approaches




Maintain infection prevention and control practices
Reprocess instruments and maintain examination room readiness
Requirements: Hold or qualify for College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Have three years of recent related nursing experience
Possess medical equipment reprocessing certification
Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Communicate effectively in English and French
