Serve Pharmacy customers across British Columbia as a Float Pharmacist, preparing medications accurately and providing professional patient counselling.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, this pharmacist supports Loblaw pharmacies across British Columbia. Responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions, maintaining inventory, resolving patient and doctor requests, and educating customers. The position also involves training pharmacy colleagues and managing dispensary costs.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and promptly
Maintain adequate medication and supplement inventory levels
Counsel patients about new and additional medications
Educate customers through public health days and clinics
Train technicians, interns, students, and international pharmacy graduates
Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
Class A Pharmacist license required
Strong customer relations and skilled standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Healthwatch or KROLL knowledge is an asset
