Registered Nurse opportunity at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay supports acute mental health care, crisis intervention, and biopsychosocial assessment. Permanent full time work includes day and night shifts.
This Registered Nurse serves the Mental Health Inpatient Program as part of an interdisciplinary team. The position supports assessment, stabilization, short-term treatment, crisis response, discharge planning, and liaison with psychiatry. Care spans the inpatient unit, ED Crisis, PICU, and off-ward settings.
Key Responsibilities: Assess biopsychosocial and emotional factors in complex clinical cases
Develop, implement, and evaluate client treatment plans
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support




Conduct off-service mental health assessments and psychiatry liaison
Support case follow-up and discharge planning
Requirements: Current Ontario RN registration in good standing
Three to five years related psychiatric experience
Non Violent Crisis Intervention or CPI training
BCLS certificate required upon hire
Comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment and communication skills
