This position supports Environmental Services under general department supervision. You will direct work activities, cover cleaning tasks, and help maintain a healthy setting for patients, visitors, and staff. The role also includes performance input, hiring recommendations, documentation, scheduling assistance, and quality improvement participation.
Key Responsibilities: Perform quality checks across assigned environmental services areas
Complete general cleaning in patient and non-patient spaces
Handle clean and soiled linens appropriately
Follow infectious waste procedures and safety standards




Assist with work schedules and staff coverage
Requirements: One year of healthcare housekeeping experience
High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge and ability gained through education or prior work
Ability to complete required annual education assignments
Ability to participate in quality improvement initiatives
Bring healthcare housekeeping experience, quality checks, linen handling, and staff coordination to Fort Sanders Regional Environmental Services.
