Interior Health seeks an experienced Relational Security Officer for a part time term assignment in Kelowna. Under the Supervisor, Relational Security, you will enforce security procedures, respond to emergencies, and support a protected, orderly workplace. The position requires communication, organization, and related equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities: Patrol buildings and grounds using surveillance and video monitoring systems
Identify hazards, secure entrances, and enforce security procedures
Respond to fires, aggressive patients, and other emergencies




Investigate disturbances using non-violent interventions and document incidents
Provide escorts, access control, and staff and patient security
Requirements: Current BC Security Guard License with applicable handcuff endorsement
One year recent related experience or equivalent preparation
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Physical ability to carry out position duties
Ability to operate related equipment and organize work
