As a Veterinary Assistant, you will help deliver patient-centered care while supporting productive hospital operations. Responsibilities span medication administration, laboratory samples, surgical preparation, radiology positioning, and hospitalized patient care. You will also contribute to reception, records, and client service.
Key Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
Provide compassionate nursing care for ill, stressed, or painful animals
Prepare medications, prescriptions, samples, and surgical areas




Measure and record patient vital signs accurately
Maintain clean, organized treatment, surgery, imaging, and kennel areas
Requirements: Completion of a recognized Veterinary Assistant program
Interest in animal welfare and small animal care
Ability to restrain animals safely while minimizing patient stress
Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
