Heavy Duty Mechanic

Full time, permanent position – Must have valid Red Seal

Prince Rupert, BC

Locally Unionized position

$50.25 per hr plus benefits, pension plan, PPE allowance

On-site- Shift is 4 on 4 off from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, night shift with pay incentive also available

Responsibilities

Undertake the preventive maintenance of industrial equipment and infrastructures

Ensure the timely and effective repairs and adjustments related to industrial equipment

Register maintenance information using the appropriate systems

Provide thorough and accurate feedback to all departments regarding pending maintenance

Actively manage the inventory of available parts and components.





Qualifications

Must hold valid Red Seal

Minimum 3 years of related experience

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment
