Serve hospital patients and residents as a Dietary Aide, preparing meals, beverages, and diet items onsite in Vancouver.
This Providence Health Care Food Services position supports St Paul's Hospital and other listed care sites. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and casual positions are available. Reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will help prepare, portion, package, and deliver food while following nutritional plans and outlined service steps.
Key Responsibilities: Set up food wagons or carts and serve food
Collect patient information and food orders
Prepare coffee, tea, toast, fruits, and vegetables
Measure, combine, blend, slice, dice, or puree ingredients
Package, label, date, and transfer stored food
Requirements: Current Food Secure Certificate Level 1
Grade 10 education
One year recent related experience or equivalent combination
Ability to communicate and deal effectively with others
Ability to organize work and operate related equipment
Use meal service, food preparation, and communication abilities to support patients and residents as a hospital Dietary Aide.
