Operate Class 1 equipment for Interpro Recycling, handling scrap materials, container collections, and safety-focused transportation duties. Work across variable weather conditions while supporting reliable service.
This Class 1 Driver position loads and unloads ferrous and non-ferrous materials using roll off containers, luger boxes, end dumps, gondola trailers, and flat decks. The work includes inspections, equipment care, yard movement, supplier communication, and dispatch coordination. Safety remains required for every job.
Key Responsibilities: Load and unload ferrous and non-ferrous materials safely
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
Monitor loads, restrictions, hazards, and unsafe conditions
Coordinate collections, delays, complaints,



and service shortfalls
Maintain clean, secured, and properly serviced equipment
Requirements: Possess a Class 1 Driver’s License without restrictions
Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalency
Understand Canadian federal and provincial driving regulations
Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and safety awareness
Communicate positively and respectfully with suppliers
Bring Class 1 driving, material handling, equipment inspection, and dispatch communication skills to Interpro Recycling’s safety-focused operations.
