Provide compassionate nursing care at Toronto Western Hospital as a part-time Registered Nurse in Alternative Level of Care. Variable shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
UHN seeks a Registered Nurse for the 8A ALC department within General Internal Medicine. You will apply nursing science, critical decision-making, and the UHN Professional Practice Model while supporting patient-focused care. The position reports to the Nurse Manager and works within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate, team-oriented, and competent nursing care
Apply professional standards, legislation, and UHN policies
Participate in continuing education activities
Reflect on and modify nursing practice
Complete cross-functional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements: Approved nursing program completion
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Current College of Nurses of Ontario competency certificate
Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bring nursing assessment, decision-making, and patient teaching skills to UHN’s Alternative Level of Care team at Toronto Western Hospital.
