Working within an inter professional team, the Registered Practical Nurse supports assigned patients at Providence Care. You will provide protected, effective care while addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. The position supports clinical condition management, care transitions, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, effective direct patient care
Evaluate patients with defined complexity and predictable outcomes
Establish preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative care priorities
Advocate for patients and their caregivers
Evaluate and modify care plans based on responses
Requirements: Active unrestricted College of Nurses of Ontario license
Current CPR certificate
College certificate required; diploma preferred
Post 1985 medication certificate when applicable
Bring nursing judgment, patient advocacy, and care planning skills to Providence Care Hospital’s patient centred clinical team.
