This full time, six-month contract focuses on communication and day-to-day living for individuals with dual sensory impairment. The schedule rotates across days, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends. In-house training prepares you to support independence, personal care, and individual objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Relay information through communication techniques
Support participation in daily living activities
Provide lifts, transfers, toileting, and medication administration
Assist individual goals and program development
Maintain complete documentation and records
Requirements: College credential in Intervenor or related human services
Developmental disability and challenging behaviour experience
Experience supporting mental health conditions
ASL or Signed Exact English communication
English verbal and written communication skills
Use ASL, personal care, and human services experience to support independence for deafblind individuals through Sensity.
