Use ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Excel to help process accurate payroll for Positive Shepherd’s union and non-union employees.
As the Full-Time Payroll Clerk, you will report to the Payroll Manager and support recurring bi-weekly payroll deadlines. The work includes validating earnings and deductions, reviewing time and attendance information, maintaining employee records, and assisting with year-end activities. Respectful communication and integrity matter.
Key Responsibilities: Validate payroll inputs, journals, exception reports, and supporting documentation
Review gross pay, statutory deductions, dues, benefits, pensions, and garnishments
Maintain payroll system data and investigate discrepancies or variances
Complete payroll changes, reconciliations, ROEs, and year-end support




Answer routine employee and manager questions about payroll processes
Requirements: Experience with payroll processing, time and attendance, and reconciliations
Experience with ROEs and year-end payroll activities
Microsoft Excel and ADP Workforce Now proficiency required
Knowledge of Ontario payroll practices and statutory deductions
Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities, and sensitive information
