Support people with developmental disabilities as a full-time Direct Support Skilled through behavior intervention and daily living assistance. Rotate morning and evening shifts, every other weekend, and occasional Night Awake shifts.
Karis Disability Services seeks a permanent Direct Support Professional working in people’s homes and communities. You will support individuals and their connections while respecting each person’s rights, gifts, and needs. The work helps people learn skills for their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities: Assist people with developmental disabilities in daily life
Support people living in homes and communities
Work with people and their connections
Support skill learning for growth and development
Recognize each person’s rights, gifts, and needs
Requirements: Behavior intervention experience is required
Availability for rotating morning and evening shifts
Availability every other weekend
Availability for occasional Night Awake shifts
Three to six months of work experience preferred
Bring behavior intervention experience and respectful daily support to people with developmental disabilities through Karis Disability Services.
