As a Senior Energy Engineer – Building Performance, you will lead studies spanning energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and code compliance. The position combines whole-building modelling with technical review, facility assessments, and clear communication of financial and performance implications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams and mentor junior professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Develop baseline and proposed-design energy models
Calibrate existing-building models using utility and operational data
Assess energy codes, standards, and green-building certification requirements
Review HVAC, envelope, electrical,



and controls design inputs
Present findings and prioritize practical client measures
Requirements: Ten or more years in energy modelling or consulting
Ontario Professional Engineer license required
Robust understanding of integrated building systems
Experience evaluating energy conservation measures and life-cycle costs
Strong analytical, writing, client-service, and project-management skills
