Key Responsibilities: Prepare expansion plans for reliable economical supply
Produce technical reports and funding justifications
Create single line diagrams for proposed projects
Analyze equipment ratings and system capability
Recommend solutions for network reliability improvements
Requirements: Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized institution
At least six years of power systems experience
Direct power system planning experience for two years
Load flow and specialized study experience
Valid Manitoba Driver’s Licence
Use engineering analysis, grid modelling, and planning judgment to advance Manitoba Hydro’s 66 kV and 33 kV infrastructure.
