Dental office between Bloor West/Queen West area is looking for a Dental Assistant Level II full time.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experienced Dental Assistant, ideally 2 yrs experience

Received Dental Assistant Diploma from accredited assisting school

LOCATION
West of Lansdowne/ Queen St. West

HOURS

Mon 9:30-6:30

Tues 7:30-3:30

Thurs 9:30-7:30

Fri 7:30-1:30

Sat 7:30-2 (1 a month)

COMPENSATION

$26-$31 depending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW

Assists with restorative and cosmetic procedures

Sterilizing instruments

Placement and removal of rubber dams

Taking x-rays of patients' teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays





Using suction and swabs to keeppatients' mouths clear and dry during procedures

Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models

Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics

Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentist's reference

Advising patients on dental care, oralhygiene and plaque control programs

Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before,during and after dental treatment
