As a full time Employment Consultant, you will guide clients from intake through employment outcomes. Responsibilities include documenting needs, creating vocational goals, coordinating referrals, delivering workshops, and supporting job placements. You will communicate with employers, develop training plans, and monitor client progress during searches and placements.
Key Responsibilities: Provide information, referrals, case management, and employment preparation
Document client skills, barriers, education, and work experience
Create service plans with short- and long-term vocational steps




Negotiate employer subsidies and placement payment schedules
Maintain client contact and required file documentation
Requirements: Related two-year postsecondary diploma or equivalent
At least three years’ career and employment guidance experience
Workshop delivery and job placement experience
Strong communication, judgement, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to balance multiple tasks and frequent interruptions
Use structured case management, employer coordination, and client assessment skills to advance employment outcomes across Employment Options services.
