Canadian Blood Services seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Brampton for donor testing, laboratory quality control, and routine testing duties.
This regular full time position supports the Testing team at Canadian Blood Services. You will accession, test, interpret, and report results while managing blood component inventory. The role also includes processing components, preparing reagents and equipment, and following operating procedures and manufacturer instructions.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine donor testing and report all results
Accession specimens and interpret testing results accurately
Manage blood and blood component inventory
Process post-production components and prepare reagents




Verify and maintain laboratory equipment under approved instructions
Requirements: Graduate from an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program
Current College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario registration
CSMLS certification or eligibility for certification
Laboratory software, Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel competency
Excellent English communication, organization, and time management skills
