The City of Kitchener is hiring temporary full time Winter Parks Labourers for approximately four months. This work supports winter control across sidewalks, facility walkways, parking lots, multi-use trails, cemeteries, and other city locations. Duties also include asset inspections and related work.
Key Responsibilities: Clear downtown sidewalks, facility walkways, steps, and city sidewalks
Maintain parking lots, multi-use trails, cemeteries, and routes
Inspect winter rinks, toboggan hills, dog parks, and city assets
Support Victoria Park Outdoor Rink and school crossing intersections




Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements: Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Valid MTO G class driver's licence in good standing
Availability for varying shifts, weekends, rotations, and overtime
Ability to perform manual labour and learn related equipment
Communication, customer service, and accurate recordkeeping skills
Support winter maintenance across Kitchener with dependable manual labour, asset inspections, and flexible shift availability.
