Deliver advanced patient care across Fredericton with Horizon Health Network, applying medical assessment and intervention skills within interdisciplinary teams. This permanent full time position includes day and evening schedules.
The Advanced Care Paramedic provides comprehensive care to patients in Horizon’s healthcare models. You will assess patients, provide interventions within scope, collaborate on care plans, educate clients and caregivers, and maintain documentation. The position serves the Fredericton and Miramichi areas.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct medical assessments within Advanced Care Paramedic scope
Provide appropriate medical interventions for patient care needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care plans




Interpret Basic 12 lead ECGs through certification or testing
Provide health education and maintain confidential records
Requirements: Complete an approved Advanced Care Paramedic program
Bring at least two years of relevant experience
Maintain valuable standing with Paramedic Association of New Brunswick
Know ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and CTAS guidelines
Demonstrate decision making, critical thinking, and teamwork
Apply advanced paramedic assessment, intervention, ECG, and collaboration skills while supporting comprehensive patient care with Horizon Health Network.
