Cut forging materials to documented specifications at Patriot Forge Corporation, combining band saw setup, blueprint reading, and precise calculations. Monday through Thursday shifts apply.
As a Saw Operator, you will support Patriot Forge’s custom open-die forging operations. Your work centers on preparing stock, producing accurate cuts, and following shop order job travelers. You will also condition stock, prepare test samples, maintain equipment, and scan routings for accurate labour reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Optimize material cutting through production band saw setup
Prepare forgings and test samples to specifications
Grind and condition stock as required
Lubricate, clean, and maintain saw equipment
Scan shop order routings for labour accuracy
Requirements: Two years’ similar experience or preferred high school diploma
Steel working experience considered an asset
Ability to interpret blueprints
Robust organizational and priority-setting skills
Ability to work with little supervision
Use accurate cutting, blueprint interpretation, equipment maintenance, and production reporting skills in Patriot Forge’s forging environment.
