As a Cook supporting senior living dining, you will prepare meals that are both nourishing and enjoyable for residents. Your responsibilities include following menu guidelines, maintaining sanitary equipment, and ensuring correct serving temperatures. Food services cooking experience and Food Handler certification are required.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals according to established menu guidelines
Plate food for residents’ dining service
Maintain preparation areas and equipment in sanitary condition
Ensure meals arrive on time and at correct temperatures
Receive and store food supplies appropriately
Requirements: Previous food services cooking experience
Current Food Handler certification
Effective communication with internal and external customers
Collaborative approach to kitchen teamwork
Manual dexterity with cooking tools and equipment
