Coordinate youth programming with YWCA Hamilton, combining staff coaching, family communication, and child-focused administration in Hamilton.
This temporary Youth Services assignment runs 20 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, from 2:00 to 6:00pm. The lead instructor supports after-school operations, records, outreach, registration, supplies, and safe programming for children ages 6–14, with travel required within Hamilton and Halton Region.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain registration, waitlist, attendance, and communication records
Support outreach events and liaise with community partners
Coach program staff and model solid leadership
Order equipment, supplies, and weekly snacks
Resolve conflicts and escalate sensitive situations appropriately
Requirements: Minimum three years’ experience working with children
Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Current First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
Required immunization and TB documentation
Ability to travel within Hamilton and Halton Region
Support accountable youth services through administration, outreach, staff leadership, and safe child-centered programming at YWCA Hamilton.
