The General Trades Person works within a unionized setting across school board facilities. You will complete installations, preventative maintenance, repairs, renovations, and service requests while following electrical codes, safety requirements, and Board procedures. The work requires practical judgment, organization, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain equipment and building features
Complete preventative maintenance, renovations, and service requests
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively




Manage records through facility management systems
Travel frequently throughout the Board’s jurisdiction
Requirements: Secondary School Diploma
Registered 442A or 309A electrician in good standing
Valid driver’s license and relevant transportation availability
Three years’ commercial or institutional experience
Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code
