Process accurate accounts payable for Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc as a full time, permanent Finance Department Accounts Payable Technician. Apply reconciliation and bookkeeping expertise daily.
This position supports TteS and related entities through timely invoice, cheque, and vendor processing. The role requires knowledge of full-cycle accounting, General Ledger experience, and accounting systems. You will also assist with financial tasks, audits, and Finance Department administration.
Key Responsibilities: Review purchase orders, invoices, and cheque requisitions daily
Prepare invoice batches and process cheques securely
Reconcile Accounts Payable subledger with General Ledger monthly
Maintain vendor files, billing systems, and authorized signer lists




Assist annual audit preparation and train new incumbents
Requirements: Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or Finance certificate or diploma
One year of accounts payable experience or equivalent education
Comprehensive full-cycle accounting and General Ledger knowledge
Experience with accounting systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, priorities, and deadlines
