Care for seniors at Park Place’s Meadow Ridge Seniors Village as a Health Care Aide, supporting safety, independence, and optimal functioning.
Reporting to a Nurse, this HCA provides daily living assistance while honoring residents’ wishes and individualized care plans. Responsibilities include personal care, medication administration, documentation, observation, equipment safety, and support for resident activities. Various rotations include days, evenings, and nights.
Key Responsibilities: Administer scheduled medications under Park Place procedures
Monitor resident symptoms and behavioural changes
Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and equipment damage promptly
Support infection control and established safety practices
Assist orientation, education, meetings, and quality improvement activities
Requirements: Graduation from a recognized Health Care Aide program
Current Alberta Health Care Aide Directory registration
Ability to work in a care workplace
Patience, kindness, compassion, and respectful teamwork
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
