City of Barrie seeks a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer to enforce by-laws across City properties, including parks and roads, and to engage with encampments in coordination with outreach services. The role requires a 2-year college diploma in Law Enforcement, MLEO certification, PAL license, Part 1 Foundations Training, and a valid Class G driver’s licence.
Expect evidence gathering and potential prosecutions, with a 35-hour week and union perks.
