Operate underground scoop trams at Dumas’ Bell Creek project, using haulage coordination and safety practices on a 7/7 rotation. Work 10-hour shifts in challenging mining conditions.
As an Underground Scoop Operator, you will load, haul, and dump ore and waste material safely and efficiently. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and confined-space capability. You will complete inspections, basic maintenance checks, and hazard assessments while communicating with dispatch and teammates.
Key Responsibilities: Operate scoop trams from headings to designated dump points
Transport ore and waste material underground safely
Complete pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance checks
Maintain clean, safe loading and dumping zones
Coordinate haulage with dispatch and other team members
Requirements: Ontario Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core
Previous underground scoop tram operating experience
Experience operating similar heavy equipment
Strong safety record and secure work practices
Ability to work in confined spaces
Bring underground equipment experience, safety focus, and haulage communication skills to Dumas’ Bell Creek mining operation.
