This position performs direct and indirect patient care under a regulated healthcare provider’s direction within the surgical portfolio. Responsibilities include assisting patients, transporting specimens, managing supplies, and supporting Operating Room turnovers. The role requires a post-secondary graduate or equivalent, current Basic Life Support certification, and housekeeping experience.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with patient positioning and transfers
Complete Operating Room turnovers between surgical cases
Transport patients using diverse transportation methods




Deliver specimens to the laboratory
Stock supplies and support Perioperative Services
Requirements: Post-secondary graduation or equivalent
Current Basic Life Support certificate within twelve months
Experience with housekeeping techniques
Basic computer knowledge and organizational skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
