Use orthopedic and Medical/Surgical nursing experience at Kemptville District Hospital, located 20 minutes south of Ottawa. Temporary full time and part-time assignments are available.
The hospital is seeking Registered Practical Nurses for its growing Medical/Surgical team. Recent orthopedic experience, including total knee replacement, is preferred, alongside medical, surgical, or gerontology experience. Candidates need College of Nurses of Ontario registration, current BCLS, basic computer knowledge, and dependable attendance.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care within Medical/Surgical services
Support orthopedic patients, including total knee replacement cases
Apply recent medical, surgical, and gerontology experience




Complete internal cross-training as available
Provide feedback during regular manager meetings
Requirements: Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current BCLS Certificate
Two years recent orthopedic experience preferred
Three to five years recent related experience preferred
Basic computer knowledge and good work performance required
Bring orthopedic knowledge, BCLS certification, and reliable nursing practice to the Medical/Surgical team in Kemptville.
