As a Specifier, you will work within DIALOG’s practice-wide Specifications Team and manage documentation across project phases. You will research products, maintain specification writing skills, and guide teams on building science, contracting, tendering, and bidding procedures. The position also involves collaboration with project management leads, job captains, architects, engineers, and consultants. Sustainable construction knowledge and technical innovation support the work.
Key Responsibilities: Research products and maintain building science expertise
Guide teams through bidding and contracting procedures
Write specifications alongside architects and other disciplines




Manage specification workloads, deadlines, and project delivery
Present, publish, or speak about technical innovation topics
Requirements: Experience writing specifications or interpreting specifications administratively
Degree in architecture or engineering, or related diploma
Understanding of MasterFormat, UniFormat, and SectionFormat
Awareness of OmniClass and its role in BIM
Knowledge of sustainable products and construction techniques
Apply building science, product research, sustainable construction knowledge, and specification expertise across DIALOG’s diverse design projects.
