PLC and CNC expertise come together in this onsite Licensed Electrician role with Johnson Electric in Stratford, Ontario. Support production reliability across rotating shifts.
As a Licensed Electrician on the Maintenance team, you will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, and start production equipment. The work includes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotics, and controls systems. You will support high-volume manufacturing performance through planned maintenance, emergency repairs, and equipment documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair CNC, PLC, and automated equipment
Install, debug, and start current production equipment
Support planned maintenance and emergency repairs
Update schematics, manuals,



and equipment documentation
Train apprentices on safe electrical installation practices
Requirements: Valid 442A or 309A electrical certificate
At least three years maintaining CNC equipment
Industrial experience in high-volume manufacturing
Knowledge of PLC, CNC, and electrical systems
Willingness to rotate through continental shifts
Apply electrical troubleshooting, PLC knowledge, and CNC maintenance experience while supporting Johnson Electric production equipment in Stratford.
