This casual Security Officer role supports Security Operations at Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. You will patrol hospital property, investigate property loss, theft, and damage, and respond to emergency codes. The position requires sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Patrol, monitor, and secure hospital property
Protect patients, staff, and visitors
Investigate property loss, theft, and damage
Respond to emergency codes and assistance calls
Enforce hospital parking regulations and perform assigned duties
Requirements: Minimum five years of recent security experience
Current Ontario security licence under applicable legislation
Grade XII and recognized security or law enforcement diploma
Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Complete report writing, judgment, and interpersonal skills
Bring hospital security experience, emergency judgment, and accurate reporting skills to UHN’s Toronto Security Operations team.
