Support children’s development as an Early Childhood Educator in Hammonds Plains, using Emergent Curriculum and responsive classroom practice. This is a full time role.
Kids & Company is seeking an Early Childhood Educator for its Hammonds Plains centre. You will guide children’s emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioural development while documenting progress and attendance. The role also includes collaboration, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver Emergent Curriculum supporting unique learning journeys
Maintain daily documentation, progress reports, and attendance records
Support emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioural development




Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists
Ensure health, safety, licensing, and classroom ratio compliance
Requirements: Valid Nova Scotia ECE License
Clear Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Registry Checks
Valid Standard First Aid and Level B or C CPR
Ability to safely push, pull, or lift up to 45 pounds
Willingness to participate in team meetings and workshops
Bring licensed early childhood education, developmental support, and accurate documentation skills to Kids & Company in Hammonds Plains.
