The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board seeks a permanent Caretaker for a school environment. This full-time position works 40 hours weekly, 12 months annually, on the day shift. Responsibilities include cleaning, grounds maintenance, minor repairs, heating and security system operation, records, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain clean, healthy, and safe school environments
Maintain grounds through grass cutting and snow shoveling
Perform minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and furniture repairs
Operate heating and security systems
Prepare maintenance records, requisitions,



and safety logs
Requirements: At least one year of commercial or institutional cleaning training and experience
Ontario Secondary School Diploma preferred
Knowledge of WHMIS, safety practices, and protective equipment
Protected operation of tools, floor machines, and maintenance equipment
Ability to perform climbing, lifting, pushing, and carrying tasks
