We're excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Quality Engineer with an established Canadian manufacturer in the Toronto area!
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures
Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Perform inspections, audits, and testing to ensure products meet customer and company standards
Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to improve product quality and reduce defects
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records
Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
Participate in customer and supplier quality activities when required
Use quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC, and CAPA




Mandatory Requirements: 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing workplace
Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Experience working cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Able to work independently with limited support
Experience with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 is preferred
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Salary Range: $80k to $90k + benefits
