As part of Clinical Support, the Recreation Worker promotes clients’ physical and mental health through recreation programs. The position serves clients across Prairie Mountain Health sites, collaborating independently and with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. This term appointment runs from November 12, 2026, to December 27, 2027, subject to earlier expiry.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement client-focused recreation programs
Assess clients and document individualized recreation plans
Develop creative activities for individuals and groups




Communicate client progress with interdisciplinary teams
Follow medical restrictions during recreational events
Requirements: Grade 12 education under Manitoba standards
Recognized therapeutic recreation certificate completion
Two years’ recent relevant healthcare client experience
Current Level 1 Food Handler certificate or willingness to obtain
Province of Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s Licence
Support client wellness through therapeutic recreation, assessment, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration with Prairie Mountain Health.
