Provide resident-focused nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Rockcliffe Care Community in Scarborough, working temporary full-time afternoons.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this Registered Practical Nurse supports residents through nursing care, assessment, communication, and staff guidance. The position follows policy, physician orders, resident care plans, and the RPN/LPN scope of practice. Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset.
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing and personal care within established policies
Follow physician orders and resident care plans
Assess residents during admissions, readmissions, and status changes
Communicate regularly with residents and their families




Supervise assigned Personal Support Workers and unregulated team members
Requirements: Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with Ontario College of Nurses
Positive judgment and ability to identify risks
Ability to foster a positive work environment
Legal eligibility to work in Canada or valid work permit
Successful Vulnerable Sector or applicable Criminal Record Check
Bring sound nursing practice, resident communication, and team supervision to Rockcliffe Care Community’s afternoon nursing service.
