As an Electrical Designer, you will plan, research, evaluate, and test electrical equipment and systems. You will work with the Electrical Design Supervisor and engineering professionals to deliver precision-built products. Your work covers customer requirements, component selection, technical drawings, quality testing, and design compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Research customer proposals, specifications, manuals, and data
Evaluate design feasibility, costs, and maintenance requirements
Specify components and modify products for conformance
Research electrical codes, regulations,



and relevant practices
Support customers through field visits and design reviews
Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering with five years’ experience
P.Eng designation strongly preferred
Robust electrical code proficiency across NFPA79, NEC, CEC, CSA, UL
Technical drawing and schematic interpretation skills
MS Office and MS Project computer skills
Use engineering judgment, code knowledge, and customer-focused technical support to advance AVL’s integrated electrical designs.
