Support children’s development as an Early Childhood Educator in an on-site child care centre, using learning plans and creative activities.
This position serves children through programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. You will assess development, communicate with parents, and collaborate with coworkers and community service providers. The work includes infant and toddler care, school-age activities, records, and supervision responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: Assess children’s development and prepare tailored learning plans
Develop and implement comprehensive child-care programs
Lead stories, songs, crafts, and creative activities
Guide eating, dressing, and toilet habits
Maintain protected, healthy, secure environments for children
Requirements: English language ability
One- to two-year early childhood education certificate or diploma
Child development worker ECE level 2 credential
First Aid and CPR certificates
Criminal record and vulnerable sector checks
Bring child development, program planning, and communication skills to support children in an on-site child care centre.
