Advance enterprise analytics governance with CGIC in Calgary through risk assessment, compliance, and responsible AI practices. This hybrid position includes two office days weekly.
As a Senior BI Analytics Governance Specialist, you will improve governance frameworks across CGIC. You will work with business and technical teams on analytics, reporting, models, and AI-driven solutions. Your work supports trusted, compliant, responsible data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities: Implement and continuously improve analytics governance frameworks and policies
Establish controls for responsible reporting, analytics, models, and artificial intelligence
Partner with Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Information Security
Maintain analytics asset inventories and metadata management practices




Report governance across Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, and AI platforms
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field
Five or more years of progressive governance or compliance experience
Experience developing governance frameworks, standards, controls, and best practices
Knowledge of data, analytics, model, and AI governance principles
English proficiency; French is an asset
