Deliver critical postoperative care as a Registered Nurse in Toronto General Hospital’s PACU, using ventilation and hemodynamic monitoring expertise. This permanent part-time position offers up to 22.5 hours weekly.
UHN seeks a Registered Nurse for its POCU/PACU department and multidisciplinary team. You will care for high-acuity surgical patients requiring immediate recovery support after anesthesia. The practice emphasizes compassionate, team-oriented, competent, and evidence-based nursing care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care to postoperative and critically ill patients
Manage ventilated patients and invasive monitoring requirements
Administer and titrate vasoactive medications appropriately




Interpret ECGs and ABGs during patient assessment
Support patients and families through structured communication
Requirements: Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current BLS certificate; current ACLS certificate preferred
Critical Care Course or three years of ED experience
At least one year of current PACU experience
Two years of post-surgical experience required
