Reporting to the Underwriting Manager, you will prepare quotes, underwrite renewals, and assess contract amendments. The role uses analytical and problem-solving skills across financial risk assessment. You will collaborate with Sales and Actuarial teams while supporting underwriting process improvements, automation, and new technology tools.
Key Responsibilities: Determine rates for prospective group insurance clients
Prepare quotes and assess financial risk
Underwrite renewals for existing clients
Assess pricing impacts from contract amendments
Support automation and underwriting process improvements




Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, finance, or related field
Zero to three years’ group insurance underwriting experience considered an asset
Excellent Microsoft Excel and good Microsoft Office proficiency
Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Professional French and intermediate English communication abilities
