Enbridge is seeking a temporary full time Shift Dispatcher in London, Ontario, focused on emergency communications and after-hours customer support.
Working in a unionized London Office position, you will handle provincial emergency calls and help establish appropriate responses. The work requires clear communication, computer aptitude, and the ability to interpret policies, work codes, priorities, and personnel capacities. You will also communicate workload information to management and provide direction when duties affect other employees.
Key Responsibilities: Provide provincial emergency call handling around the clock
Evaluate emergency types, resources, and required field skills
Communicate emergency and workload information to management




Respond to customer requests outside regular hours
Call customers for commitments and recommitments
Requirements: High school education or equivalent minimum
Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with field personnel
Capacity to learn mechanized planning and dispatch systems
Ability to interpret policies, codes, priorities, and procedures
Ability to work responsibly under direct or indirect supervision
