Oversee pool operations, emergency procedures, and aquatic staff performance at Oak Ridges Pool on a permanent part-time schedule.
The Aquatic Leader provides direction during designated shifts and supports protected, consistent facility operations. You will supervise Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, Attendants, Deck Supervisors, and volunteers, while assisting with maintenance, chemical testing, reception, and customer inquiries. The position requires independent problem-solving and organized follow-through.
Key Responsibilities: Lead aquatic teams during designated shifts
Provide direction during emergencies and complete incident follow-up
Assist with facility maintenance and chemical testing
Support registration, membership sales, and cash management




Report customer feedback, supplies, maintenance, and program status
Requirements: Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
Lifesaving Society Aquatic Supervisor Training
Lifesaving Society Bronze Examiner certification
First Aid certification recognized by the WSIB of Ontario
Ability to resolve issues independently under minimal supervision
Use pool operations, emergency leadership, and customer service expertise to support reliable aquatic programming in Richmond Hill.
