Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations at Chilliwack General Hospital, using echocardiography equipment and patient-centered communication. Fraser Health supports this Cardiac Sonographer position.
Reporting to Cardiac Sonography and Medical Imaging leaders, you will perform standard cardiac studies and measurements. The work includes preparing patients, recording clinical information, processing acquired data, and providing preliminary assessments. You will also support education, equipment monitoring, and quality practices.
Key Responsibilities: Perform 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac studies
Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly
Record cardiac ultrasound views and measurements
Monitor patients and respond to possible contrast reactions




Maintain ultrasound equipment and related records
Requirements: Graduate of recognized Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography training program
Certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS
Sonography Canada certification and passed CCSA accepted
Intravenous Therapy training or applicable IV Therapy experience
Knowledge of cardiac sonography theory and practice
Use echocardiography expertise, accurate measurements, and compassionate communication as a Cardiac Sonographer with Fraser Health.
