Process and sterilize hospital supplies as an MDRD Technician with Scarborough Health Network at the Centenary Site. This permanent part time position includes varied shifts.
Reporting to the Manager, Medical Devices Reprocessing, you will support decontamination, instrument inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterile storage. The position requires a Central Services Certificate or Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate from an accredited community college. You will apply infection prevention and control principles while serving a diverse hospital community.
Key Responsibilities: Process hospital supplies for medical device reprocessing
Decontaminate instruments and medical devices
Inspect, assemble, and package instruments
Support endoscopy and sterilization processes




Maintain sterile storage and distribution procedures
Requirements: Central Services or Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate
Pass the MDRD competency test with 80% or higher
Understand infection prevention and control principles
Demonstrate English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
Use personal protective equipment and report hazards
Apply medical device reprocessing knowledge, infection control awareness, and reliable judgment at Scarborough Health Network’s Centenary Site.
