You will care for designated surgical patients, supporting client and family centred care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, education, and advocacy. The position follows BCCNM standards, VCH policies, and established clinical practice documents.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate surgical patient care
Teach clients and families about illness and wellness
Participate in discharge planning and advocate for clients
Document care and respond to incidents according to policy




Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care providers
Requirements: Current practicing BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse
Nursing practice experience related to designated surgical patients
Knowledge of common surgical diagnoses and pathophysiology
Ability to perform focused assessments and develop care plans
Skill managing pain, delirium, infections, and hemodynamic instability
